OK, it's been quite a while since the last post... And the reason is simply that I've been working too much. I currently have so many tasks in so many different projects that it's now obvious that there's something wrong somewhere.
It could be in my skills (though I doubt it...), in my ability to manage my own time and (most likely) in overloading due to unreasonable expectations and deadlines. All of those not set nor approved by me, of course.
All the improvements I wanted to make to this homegrown blogging software have been postponed indefinitely, and, to tell the truth, I've been quite embarrassed to have this public presence on the web and not the time or energy to put fresh content into it. I wanted to talk about company source code conventions, development best practices, why OR mapping is a mistake... Currently I do not even know if it's worthwhile to continue having datafaber.com up in its current form.
Hopefully I'll get 2 very well-deserved weeks of vacation next month, so I'll be at least able to decide what to do next.
